We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to find us a reliable expert for our repair job. We joined and posted our needs, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.

Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?

Then, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and provided a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to talk about the issues, but he was website adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling angry and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.
